The main advantage is the gas preheat function, which means the blow torch works (after 2 minutes heating) in any position. No undesired shooting flame as a result of the movement of the gas cartridge causing the propane and butane to not be optimally mixed with air, which would otherwise cause the mixture to come out of the nozzle in a partially liquefied form, causing instability and a shooting flame.
