Use Directions for Earplugs:

  1. Inspect the Earplugs: Before use, always inspect the earplugs for dirt, damage, or deformation. If the earplugs are not clean or are damaged, do not use them.
  2. Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to ensure they are clean before handling the earplugs. This helps prevent ear infections.
  3. Prepare for Insertion: If the earplugs are of the roll-down foam type, compress them by rolling them with your fingers into a small, smooth cylinder. If they are pre-molded or flanged, no rolling is necessary.
  4. Insert the Earplugs:
    • Reach over your head with one hand to gently pull the top of your ear upwards and outwards to straighten your ear canal.
    • With your other hand, insert the compressed or flanged end of the earplug into your ear canal.
    • Hold the earplug in place for a few seconds to allow it to expand and create a snug fit.
  5. Check the Fit: Once inserted, the earplugs should feel comfortable in your ears. If there is any discomfort or if the earplugs do not seem secure, remove them and reinsert them following the steps above.
  6. Removal: To remove the earplugs, gently twist them to break the seal and pull them out slowly. Do not pull them out quickly as this may cause damage to the ear canal.
  7. Cleaning and Storage: Clean them with mild soap and water. Dry them completely before storing them in a clean case to prevent contamination.
  8. Disposal: Do not reuse single-use earplugs as this can lead to ear infections and reduced effectiveness.
