After a short, almost non-existent winter, the time is approaching again when everyone will be rushing into their gardens. Two new items can come in handy – honest garden tools and new types of mower string.
Extol Premium garden tools, listed individually in the range, are made of good material with honest welds. The metal body is set in a pleasant and ergonomically shaped polypropylene handle with a soft rubber grip.
Also the new Extol Premium garden strings in three different profiles and all common diameters have quality inside. The German PA66 material is the highest quality used in this segment, and the core inside the string contains special additives to further strengthen the string.
There are 5 different diameters on offer. As a rule, the more powerful your machine, the thicker the string you will need. Follow the parameters of your machine and observe the diameter stated by the manufacturer. In particular, it is not advisable to use a string thicker than recommended by the manufacturer – the machine is then unable to give the string sufficient speed, which reduces the cutting efficiency and increases the risk of damage to the motor.
Depending on the type of lawn you have, you can also choose the most suitable string profile. A circular profile is the least aggressive and is therefore suitable for the treatment of normal lawns bordered by, for example, plastic kerbs, to which it is more gentle. This string is also the least wearing. To achieve a perfectly straight cut, choose the star profile string, which has the cleanest cut thanks to its sharp edges. If you are going to cut mature grass with thicker plants, reach for the square profile string.
